Object/ive obsessions

Author dabossPosted on February 14, 2012October 3, 2013Tags Alan Crowley, at Valentines we can easily relate it to obsessive love but for this exhibition we have invited artists to share what are their obsessions relating to their work. This exhibition will take its theme f, Brian O Shea, Carl Doran, Catherine O Brien, Dan Kenny, Dawn West, Des Farrell, Emily Doyle, Eoin Barry, Fiona Quill, Gary Dempsey. Dates: From 9th of February the ten artist will be given a space to work and display their art object and obsessions in the Gallery. From 13th February ten printmakers will make a small , Limerick Printmakers Studio & Gallery have invited ten artists to participate in a project-based exhibition at the Limerick Printmakers Studio & Gallery from Thursday the 9th of February to We, Marie Connole, Pamela Dunne, Paraic Leahy. The printers are Des Mc Mahon, support work or form an integral part of the actual work. The idea of obsession refers to the collecting of objects or the repetition of imagery in the work. Each Invited artist will be given a space , Suzannah O Reilly, those that form a source material for a work
